Mobistar is preparing itself for the challenges of the coming years and wishes to be able to respond more nimbly to market evolutions. That is why the company decided to adapt its organisation as of 1st March 2012 in order to make it simpler and more effective. “We´re convinced that this new structure will better meet the needs of our customers, while at the same time clarifying the responsibilities of everyone within the company”, explains Jean Marc Harion, the CEO of Mobistar, who emphasises that this development will not entail any reductions in staff.

The objective of this reorganisation is to better align Mobistar with the three major priorities defined in its new strategic plan: improvement of the mobile network, development of convergent services, and achievement of the best customer experience on the market.

Several changes are planned:

The Customer Relationship department, directed by Cristina Zanchi, is being strengthened. The goal is to give the teams of this department end-to-end responsibility for their interactions with the customer, which should result in a customer experience that is both better and more coherent.

In the Sales Department, Paul Baeck, Chief Commercial Officer, decided to leave the Mobistar group after 4 years, in order to take up new challenges effective in April. Mobistar thanks him for his excellent collaboration and professionalism during these four years.

The Sales department is being divided into two separate entities: a B2B Business Unit and a Sales Channels department. Stephane Beauduin, today Chief Marketing Officer, will be heading the new B2B Business Unit starting April 1st. His department will be responsible for B2B services, direct sales to companies, B2B marketing and Machine-to-Machine. Sven Bols will be running the new Sales Channels department, which will be responsible for the various sales channels. The objectives of this reorganisation are firstly to give Mobistar the means to structure and accelerate its growth in the B2B area and, secondly, to further professionalise the distribution networks and prepare them for future evolutions of the Belgian market.

The ITNO department is also being divided into a Networks department, headed by Pascal Koster, and an IT department. The goal is to simultaneously devote even greater attention to improving the networks and to position the IT projects at the centre of Mobistar´s activity.
