Fully committed to sustainable practices and promoting digital and social inclusion, Orange Belgium will now offer its customers the possibility to also engage and act by turning their loyalty gifts into donations for Belgian associations.
Via its Orange Thank You programme, Orange has been rewarding the loyalty of its customers or celebrating special events such as birthdays for several years by offering them additional data, discounts on goods or services and much more.
To celebrate Orange’s 6th birthday on the Belgian market, Orange Belgium is offering a special gift to all of its customers: as of today, the Orange Thank You programme lets them choose between 4 options:
Contributing to the environment and digital & social inclusion
To heighten the impact of these donations and further strengthen the ecosystem, Orange Belgium is committed to working with local partners.
For the donation focused on the environment, Orange Belgium will continue to work with its historic partners Natuurpunt and Natagora: each customer opting for this reward will offer 2 euros to one of these associations, which will be used to build a natural reserve by planting trees and protecting local ecosystems.
As for the digital & social inclusion donation, the same amount will be transferred to the local initiative ToekomstATELIERdelAvenir (TADA). TADA is a bilingual network that involves citizens, civil society and private companies in the integration and emancipation of Brussels’ socially most vulnerable teenagers and their relatives by organizing weekend schools and individual coaching sessions in the long term, with the objective of offering equal chances for development to all.
Orange Belgium decided to engage its customers to further build on its existing initiatives and the support it already provides to such institutions. For instance, the Re programme, which allows customers to hand in their used devices at a shop in exchange for a voucher, is paired with a systematic donation of 2 euros to Natagora and Natuurpunt. This has already enabled them to plant more than 2ha of trees in 2021.
