As a responsible operator, Orange Belgium strongly believes it is part of its societal commitment to help fighting the Covid19 pandemic. As the second wave hits the country strongly, the operator announces today a series of initiatives to help its customers, residential and businesses, caretakers and the general population:
In the coming weeks Orange Belgium will be investigating other initiatives to support the national fight against the Covid19 pandemic.
Xavier Pichon, CEO of Orange Belgium, comments: “It is our duty, as a responsible operator, to help wherever we can in this national effort to fight the Covid19 pandemic. Our utmost priority remains the safety of our employees and our customers, but we find it important to offer additional support by allowing people to stay in touch with each other, to enjoy entertainment while staying at home, by facilitating homeworking businesses and by supporting the most impacted economic sectors of the local economy. Our network is ready to handle a second wave of massively increased teleworking, thanks to a continuous monitoring of its performances and the increased capabilities for interconnections with the other operators, which were put in place during the first lockdown.”
