Brussels, 17 November 2013 - Mobistar invites all of its customers to carefully compare their tariff plans with those of the other operators, so as to confirm for themselves that Mobistar gives them a tariff plan that is adapted to their needs, at a competitive price. The “Keep on comparing” call is a Mobistar action within the framework of the “Dare to compare” campaign of the FPS Economy, which begins on Monday, November 18th in many municipalities throughout our country.
On Monday, November 18th, the FPS Economy is launching the “Dare to compare” information campaign, in collaboration with a large number of municipalities in our country. These municipalities will help telecom consumers to clarify their user profile and then find the formula that best fits that profile. This campaign will be conducted between 18 and 29 November 2013.
On the occasion of the “Dare to compare” campaign of the FPS Economy, Mobistar is addressing consumers with a call of its own: “Keep on comparing”.
Keep on comparing, because at Mobistar the prices for mobile telephony for different user profiles are amongst the lowest in Belgium, and even in Europe. For example, a Test Aankoop study published in June revealed that a moderate user (two hours of calls, 150 texts and 500 megabytes) is best off at Mobistar. And a comparison done by the BIPT also showed that the smartphone user at Mobistar (300 minutes of calls, unlimited texts and 1GB of data usage) pays the least when compared to the other operators.
Keep on comparing, because before the end of the year Mobistar is making its “animal” tariff plans even more advantageous: the conditions for enjoying a 20 % discount on the monthly invoice for life will be eliminated. As a result, Mobistar customers always automatically benefit from the lowest rate, without any contract obligation or requirement to purchase other fixed-line services, as is the case with a number of other providers.
Keep on comparing, because at Mobistar the customer in any case has a tariff plan that is adapted to his needs, and at a competitive price. Since the introduction of the “animal” tariff plans, no fewer than 88 % of the residential postpaid customers at Mobistar today have a new, more advantageous tariff plan thanks to the discontinuation of over forty old tariff plans and the migration of those customers to a new and more advantageous “animal” tariff plan. In addition, Mobistar has the “Personal Check Up” programme in which customers are systematically contacted if there is a tariff plan that is better adapted to their evolving needs, e.g. because of their increasing use of mobile data.
