Brussels, 9 November 2007 - Mobistar announces the appointment of Pascal Koster, Managing Director of VOXmobile, to the position of Chief Technology Officer and member of the Executive Committee of Mobistar. Pascal Koster will retain his role as Managing Director of VOXmobile in Luxembourg and will share his time between these functions and his new functions in Brussels.
Pascal Koster, aged 39, is qualified as an electrical and technical engineer, with a specialisation in telecommunications, at the Federal Polytechnic School in Zurich, and also gained an MBA at the Sacred Heart University, Connecticut.
After spending seven years at CEGEDEL, he entered the TELE2 group as Managing Director of TANGO S.A. In November 2003, together with Jean-Claude Bintz and the investors AUDIOLUX S.A. and BIP Investments S.A., he created the telecom operator VOXmobile. In July 2007 Mobistar took a 90 % stake in VOXmobile, with the remaining 10 % in the hands of BIKO Investments S.A. held by Jean-Claude Bintz and Pascal Koster.
