Orange Belgium launches first fully secured and unlimited business plans to stay connected in Belgium and the EU

Orange Belgium announced today the arrival of the first fully secured and unlimited business plans: unlimited mobile data, voice calls and SMS to use in Belgium as well as in 39 European countries and territories. Orange business customers can stay connected anywhere, anytime, with a complete peace of mind when travelling in the EU as well as making international calls and SMS to the EU. Moreover, an extra security service protects the smartphone of Orange business customers against possible cyber threats.

Unique combination of unlimited mobile data and international voice calls and SMS in 39 EU countries and territories to meet the demands of the travelling business customer

The Belgian business market is becoming increasingly mobile: most employees have a smartphone nowadays and business customer spend many hours a day online on his smartphone. Most of the data consumption is generated by browsing, streaming and downloading/uploading as they consult documents in the cloud and transfer files. The European Union is important for all business customers as approximately 80% of the international calls by Orange customers are done using their mobile and approx. 80% of their international calls are to the EU, 64% to neighboring countries.

From March 4th 2019, Shape Intense and Shape Traveller will be upgraded to unlimited mobile data and unlimited international voice calls to use in and towards the EU.

Orange customers’ smartphone is protected against cyber threats and attacks

Employees are increasingly working from mobile devices, but companies often only provide a security system on PC for their employees. A lot more can be done to secure the mobile endpoints while more work is completed outside of the trusted security perimeter.

That is why Orange Belgium also adds a security service to its Shape formulas, at no additional cost. This service provides protection against: application based threats, unsecured Wi-Fi networks and malicious websites. It also prevents compromise from out of date operating systems and offers tools to help or block access to lost or stolen devices.

The upgraded Shape formulas will be available to all business customers as from March 4th, 2019.
