Orange becomes main sponsor of the Belgian Lions, Belgian Cats and the Pro Basketball League

As from today Orange becomes the proud main sponsor of the national basketball teams, the Belgian Lions, the Belgian Cats and the Pro-league, the national top level championship.

In order to continue the establishment of the brand in Belgium, Orange partners up with the governing bodies of basketball in Belgium. Thanks to this collaboration, Orange sponsors as from today the highest basketball level of the country:

  • The 2 national teams, Belgian Lions (men) and Belgian Cats (women)

  • The Pro Basketball League, the competition between the 10 best basket-ball teams of Belgium

An exciting basketball season in Orange

Tonight Orange will make its first appearance as sponsor of the Belgian Lions during the qualification games for EuroBasket 2017.

The Belgian Cats, with WNBA stars Ann Wauters and Emma Meesseman  have their sights set on a Eurobasket 2017 birth as well after a strong opening part of their qualifying campaign earlier this year.  

Orange will also be sponsor of the Pro Basketball League matches as from the start of the new competition on October 1.
