Mobistar launches Easy Internet @home: fixed internet at home via Mobistar’s 4G network

Brussels, October 1, 2015 – Today Mobistar is launching Easy Internet @home, a user-friendly solution to enjoy all the advantages of fixed internet at home via Mobistar’s 4G mobile network. Easy Internet @home is designed for consumers who go online at home on a day to day basis for general surfing but do not need a fixed internet subscription with big data bundles for downloading for instance. As from now they can benefit from all the advantages of fixed internet thanks to a comfortable 15GB of data volume at just €15 per month.

Thanks to the excellent quality (80% of the population has an excellent coverage inside buildings) and the speed of Mobistar’s 4G network, customers can now benefit from carefree browsing at home thanks to Easy Internet @home. This telecom solution exists of a WiFi modem and 15GB mobile data volume per month.

How does it work? Just plug & play The installation is very easy. The SIM-card that you insert inside the wifi modem/router will allow the user to connect to the 4G network of Mobistar. Afterwards it is very easy to connect a computer, tablet or smartphone and surfing can begin.   You leave on holiday? Then simply unplug the modem and connect everywhere you want in Belgium. The only requirement is to have a proper Mobistar 4G reach and an electrical outlet to guarantee an excellent connection. Moreover, friends and family can access the network via WiFi or even via ethernet.

This solution is perfect for people who only use the internet for basic things such as searches, e-banking, online purchases or social media access. The subscription is not suited to intensive use such as large image or video downloads.

15GB for just €15 per month For €15 per month, the Easy Internet @home subscriber is entitled to 15GB of mobile data (upload and download). The package does not include texting and calls or roaming.   The WiFi modem is available for €29 if the customer takes a twelve-month Easy Internet @home subscription. Please note that the modem’s SIM card is only designed to fit the Mobistar modem and is not compatible with a mobile phone, tablet or other modem.

Easy Internet @home is available as from October 1 in all Mobistar Centers. The offer is limited to 10.000 users.
