Mobistar clients can now drive more serenely thanks to the Coyote community

A study conducted in April 2015 by the GfK survey office established that 91% of people who opt for the Coyote driving assistance service do it in order to be able to drive more serenely. Receiving real-time information on traffic conditions is indeed essential for more driving comfort and safety. Furthermore, 84% of Coyote service users declare that they’re more cautious when driving. They’re also more attentive and tend to better respect speed limits.

iCoyote offered to Mobistar clients

In order to meet customer expectations in terms of driving and offer an innovative and distinctive service, Mobistar has signed an exclusive partnership with Coyote. The iCoyote smartphone application is now offered to all Mobistar customers with a Dolphin or Panther subscription. A gift worth € 11.99/month.

Practically speaking, Mobistar clients with a Dolphin or Panther subscription will soon be invited to download the application on their smartphone. Once registered, they’ll be able to access the Coyote driving assistance services for free.

The iCoyote application is very user-friendly and provides a lot of real-time information. It also takes advantage of the excellent quality of the Mobistar network and is optimised for use on the 4G network.

Mobistar customers can now benefit from iCoyote for Android and Windows Phone . The iOS version is being certified at Apple and will be available in a few days .

Driving more serenely

The iCoyote application functions by leveraging the driving community. Through the application, users share traffic information (93% of the information shared concerns traffic disturbances). This information is sent to 825,000 members of the Coyote community in order to facilitate driving. Among the major information topics shared: slow-downs, traffic congestion, accidents, road debris, speed limits, stopped vehicles …
