Mobistar carefully welcomes the new wholesale price proposal in the context of the cable network regulation in the Brussels region

Back to news index

Today, IBPT published a consultation on a draft decision regarding new wholesale price conditions for high-speed Internet as well as digital and analogic television via cable networks for the Brussels region.

This new proposal adds clarifications to the questions that had previously been formulated by Mobistar (like the price of set-top boxes, modems, second screen…) and covers, among other issues, a correction of the wholesale price. Mobistar will now analyse this proposal and will share its comments once this detailed analysis has been completed.

Mobistar is now expecting the proposals of the other regulators (VRM, CSA and Medienrat).

The proposals are still subject to public consultation and approval by European authorities before the media regulators can definitively endorse the price conditions.

Mobistar encourages the regulators to pursue the work diligently and will actively contribute to this consultation.

Mobistar will communicate about the launch and conditions of its commercial offer when the final terms have been approved by all regulators.
