Today, Mobistar will hand out a 200,000 dollar ticket for the first space trip to Antoine Lesceux, a 19 year-old student from Jupille-sur-Meuse. The young man was designated by the bailiff as the winner of the online Mobistar competition organized in the context of the launch of its digital TV offer.
With the message “I’m looking forward”, Mobistar launched its national advertising campaign in the press and online on September 4th. The advertising referred to the website http://www.ikkijkvooruit.be with the message ‘I’d like to travel to the future’. Everyone had the opportunity to participate in order to win a space trip.
More than 130,000 visitors visited http://www.ikkijkvooruit.be and 9,600 of them took part in the competition. In the end, bailiff O.Vercuysse designated Antoine Lesceux as winner of the space trip. Antoine, a 19 year-old student living in Jupille-sur-Meuse, is ecstatic: “I really couldn’t believe what was happening to me when Mobistar told me I was the winner of the space trip. It came as a complete surprise to me! It’s absolutely fantastic that Mobistar has given me this opportunity to fly in outer space.”
Mobistar purchased a ticket for the first space trip and has now given it to the winner. He will now face a few selection tests before being able to take place in the spacecraft. While waiting for the space trip, you can follow all the preparations on twitter.
