Ludovic Pech is appointed as Chief Financial Officer of Mobistar

The board of directors of Mobistar has just appointed Ludovic Pech, 43, to the post of Chief Financial Officer of the company, replacing Werner De Laet, who has become CEO of Orange Luxembourg. Holder of a Master's degree in management, finance and accounting from ESCEM, Ludovic Pech joined the France Telecom group in 1994 as a management consultant to help the operator prepare for the opening up of the telecoms market.

Since then he has held numerous posts in the France Telecom/Orange group, enabling him to acquire vast experience of the sector, both in fixed and mobile communication, and also in various countries and within structures of varying size. This is not the first time that Ludovic Pech is in contact with the Belgian market, since from 1998 to 2000 he participated in developing the Wanadoo brand in Belgium, as well as in the UK, Spain, the Netherlands, Denmark and Morocco. In 2000, he worked on the IPO of Wanadoo.

From 2000 to 2006, Ludovic Pech then held the post of CFO of the Spanish subsidiary of France Telecom, and he participated in the purchase and integration of the mobile operator Amena in 2005. From 2006 to 2010, he joined the headquarters of the Orange group in Paris as Vice-President Finance of the group's “Home” business, in other words the entire fixed services department for residential customers. In this role, he managed the performance of a business with a turnover of 22 billion euros and totalling 60 million clients. Since 2010, Ludovic Pech has held the posts of CFO and General Secretary of Orange Romania, the market leader in Romanian telecommunications.

Born in Paris, Ludovic Pech is a French national and is married with 2 children.
