Brussels, 13 September 2012 - The iPhone 5 will be available in the Mobistar stores in a few weeks. Between now and then, customers can already drop by Mobistar to get their free nano-SIM card and make sure they will be amongst the first to have the new iPhone once it´s launched in Belgium.
The eagerly-awaited iPhone 5 has just been presented by Apple, and it will be on the market in Belgium in a few weeks. In the meantime, Mobistar is enabling all interested customers to optimally prepare for the arrival of this new device. How? Thanks to the iSWAP programme.
Given that the new iPhone operates with a smaller SIM card called a nano-SIM, iSWAP permits fans of the Apple smartphone to come pick up their free (1) nano-SIM card as of today in any of the participating Mobistar stores, as well as in the telecom corners of the Media Markt and Makro stores(2). In this way, they´ll be all ready for the official launch of the device in a few weeks - provided of course that they don´t forget to take their nano-SIM with them on the day the iPhone 5 comes out, so that it can be activated.
At the same time, Mobistar allows the customers who come in to pick up their nano-SIM in the store to verify firstly whether they have the proper tariff plan for their use and secondly to register with Mobistar their request for an iPhone 5. For this, all they have to do is choose the desired model. Then, once their new iPhone arrives in the store, Mobistar will personally contact them by e-mail.
Icing on the cake: Mobistar is organising a VIP event to be held at a top-secret location to celebrate the arrival of the iPhone 5. During this event, the persons invited will notably have a chance to purchase their iPhone 5 in avant-première. As of today, all customers who come to one of the participating stores and who follow the iSWAP programme can take part in a contest to win their places for this exclusive launch event.
(1) For customers who use a prepaid card, the nano-SIM card will be for-pay because it includes calling credit.
